[Review] Prince of Wolf

I have mixed feelings about this drama... I really can't decide if I liked it or not. I came across this drama a few months ago but I decided to watch it earlier this week as I saw some cute gifs on the internet. But warning! Do not be fooled by these!

The story follows Du Ze Ming who was lost in the woods as a child and then raised by wolves. He meets Tian Mi Mi and then follows her back to society. It follows how he is integrated back to society and how he finds his family. 

What I found while watching this dramas is that even though it has very cute couples and cute romances, the writers just stuffed every key element from dramas into one drama. I could see some resemblance to some older Korean dramas. It's also as if they handed a checklist to the writers which as the plot was going on they were checking them off... lost child, check, unloved child, check, rich family, check, revengeful family member, check, secret child, check, unfairness, check, illness, check, and many more! The list just goes on, seriously! It was way too much of key drama elements stuffed into one drama. They should have focused on one or two and develop them instead of stuffing them all into one drama. 

I really liked the cute interactions between the leads, however, it was not enough to cover everything that was wrong with the drama. Especially as there was no focus on how he is able to integrate back to the society. It is mentioned that he doesn't loose his ability as human but he was lost as a child which ensues the question how much does he really after living 20 odd years in the woods? Would he have not forgotten them? It just seemed unrealistic. There was way too many flaws overall and that's why I am just utterly confused if I liked this drama or not!

I do have to give some mentions about the side characters (Mi Mi's sister and friend) who, despite the whole melodrama, were bringing lots of joy into the drama. Main couple's romance was also really enjoyable to watch. And not to mention, Wolf Dad! The dog that played the wolf was way too pretty! Loved it!!
